The best thing about the name Dianne:
It's a soft yet strong name. It's a common name for female characters on TC/movies....always adults though, never kids!
The worst thing about the name:
As a kid, I felt the name was too grown up sounding and 'old fashioned.' My name is often spelled wrong - I spell it with one 'n' - people tend to call me Diana fairly often. The name is rare now.
If my name wasn`t Dianne....:
My mother would have named me after my grandmothers... 'Lilian Mary'

I was named Diane after my dad's sister who died accidentally in 1940 at the age of 4. That fact was creepy to me as a kid, but I appreciated it as I grew older!

It made my Mum happy as I was named after a little girl she saw in the Drs surgery.
