I love tht it is unique and that I have never met another Kyla, unlike people with more common names.

I do not undestand what is so hard about saying Kyla, but I have heard every variation known to man and it is quite frustrating. I have learned to respond to any name that sounds like it and to automatically correct people. I also tell people how to spell it if they are writing it down otherwise I become Kayla or Kyle.

It's unique. You don't have to deal with everyone having your name when you're in school. I loved being the only Kyla and not having a name like Sarah or Ashley or something else very common.

NO ONE can pronounce it. I'm constantly called Kayla! It's frustrating. Also, unless you have something personalized yourself, you won't have your name on anything. It continues to baffle me when I see hundreds of spellings of other names, and I'll see some insane names, but my own name isn't on anything.

I was supposed to be called Christina. I like Kyla better. I love my name. I just wish others were more familiar with it.
