Someone needs to do better research. Arienne is a FRENCH name, not an English one. It comes from Ariadne, a woman from Greek mythology who fell in love with Theseus. She helped him escape the Minotaur as well as the Labyrinth. He abandoned her, but she ended up marrying Dionysus, the God of wine and ecstasy. Ariane is the English version.

My daughter is called Arienne and we love it! Mom is Spanish and dad is Dutch.. we both chose the name together..
