The best thing about the name Blithe:
It's unique, I've never met anyone else with the same name and it defines my character and nature. It can't be shortened.
The worst thing about the name:
Everyone miss spells it and I usually have to repeat it when meeting someone for the first time but once people get it they never forget it.
If my name wasn`t Blithe....:
I wouldn't be the person I am today, I have no regrets.
Extra information:
I get told a lot that it's a great name, it's unique and character building. I have had a few people ask me what were your parents thinking? But I'm very grateful for it and proud of it. My personality matches the meaning, happy and carefree. Blythe is the more common spelling and tends to be used for girls names. However they are both interchangeable for boys and girls. From experience, I highly recommend it.

Blithe Robinson
I'm a male and in my forties and I wouldn't trade my name for anything. When I was 10 my family moved from a small country town to Sydney and I got a bit of a hard time for a while but that helped build my character.
