It's somehow unique, but at the same time...not; as is, there aren't enough Carolinas so one would ask for your last name but there aren't so few Carolinas that you feel alone. If that makes sense.

I don't know how it would make that much of a difference since one can only know how its like to be named one name - their own.

I never use my actual name (not even my parents call me Carolina, and they named me!); most people call me Carol or Lina or by my middle name. I think it's a really pretty name though.
