I did some research when I was younger and discovered that the name comes from Claudius the Roman Emperor who had Cerebal Palsy so he was physically affected by his condition but was intellectually very intelligent and wrote many historical documents about the Roman empire. Which I thought was pretty cool because I have work for ten years with people with disabilities and always felt a calling towards that kind of work. Also I do have a dodgy knee so I'm slightly lame in leg but not in awesomeness and sometimes I also just pretend my name means lame' just like the sparkly fabric! hee hee
