    My mom was going to name me either Cassandra or Elise. I am very happy she went with the latter. In my opinion I could ask for a stronger name.

We almost named our daughter 'Elise' but decided against it at the last minute because of the 'Elsie' confusion and made it her middle name instead. But we have always regreted our decision and now, on her 8th birthday, she has asked us to switch to calling her 'Elise'. It's going to be a hard transition, but for the first time, We will all be thrilled with her name!
