It is an uncommon name. I love being different. My dad gave me this name because of the color of my eyes. I only know one Esmeralda so far...

well my name is monica esmeralda..and i named my lil girl esmeralda lee..my dad gave me the name also not for my color of my eyes but cause he thought it would fit me just well and it did..and my lil one i thought the same to..so then i gave her esmeralda and use my sister middle nane lee for her middle name ..crazy i know but its good
