The best thing about the name Holly: It allows me to get away with using Holiday Themed dishes all year round with Holly on them. A lot of people like to to call me Holly Berry or Berry which is a neat nick name I think. Also, when I was born, Holly Hobbie was popular so I had my bedroom done in Holly Hobbie, and it was Holly but not Holiday Themed.
The worst thing about the name: Not a lot. Sometimes misshear it and think my name is Polly (which is actually my Grandmothers name). Also not a lot of things personalized with Holly on it when I was a kid.
