The best thing about the name Jewel:
I like people's reactions to it! It's unuasual not to asked a couple of questions about it. Mostly it's very much liked, although still very uncommon here in the UK
The worst thing about the name:
Ones assuming my REAL name must be Julie
If my name wasn`t Jewel....:
I'm not sure. I do think people judge you to some extant on your name. I THINK it has helped some to warm to me quicker which is nice.
Extra information:
I often add that my parents were hippies and so I got off lightly being called Jewel!!! I could have been called Sunbeam or Freedom or something else as weird. Jewel is an unusual name but at least it isn't wierd :0)
