it has a nice meaning, but i don't like it it i get alot og guys tryina use it as a pickup line. they say suff like wow your mother picked the right name for u cause you really are beautiful. after a while it gets old.

I love my name. It has a different meaning in my mother tongue. It means waited for.

I think one should love their name. I know how painstaking it is as a mother to choose a name for a child that I have not met yet. Every name I've chosen has suited my children accordingly. I can't imagine their names being something else. I don't feel they would be the same kids. Personality wise, that is. I have always loved my name and if it's the only good thing my mother ever gave me.....it was and IS my name.

I think the name Linda is a great name! It also has a nice meaning! But I think it is too popular. Why? Because I know about 15 Lindas. It is the most popular name to me. Even though I didn't live in 1950, I have a guess that in that year, that if the principle just called a Linda up on stage and frogot to say the last name, a lot of people would be scrambling up on stage and there will be a loud uproar. Linda's BFFs would say that it was her and it would be a disaster. Even people with other names would come up stage and try illiminating people. If this really happened, I would say it was so funny.

I have something to say to the third and sixth Linda: how come your name is unique? I know 15-now-21 Lindas, and its the most popular name according to me. Just to let you know, I was actually the same Jennifer, but I just have another comment.
