The worst thing about the name: The worst thing about being called Lydia is the things it rhymes with (chlamydia is a good expample), luckly I have only encountered this at University and then people are just joking. The rhyming can be a good thing too though, builds sense of humor! haha

Extra information: The best thing about being called Lydia is when my English teacher at school fell in love with the name so much she named her first girl Lydia also, she said if it wasn't for me being called Lydia she may have never discovered the name.
