What Siobhan`s say about their name
  1. The best thing about the name Siobhan:
I can't think of a single thing. I'm stuck with it, but now that I'm in high school, I use the initial S. and then write out Katherine, which is my middle name.
The worst thing about the name:
It is hard to spell and pronounce. The nicknames for it are terrible. It just doesn't LOOK pretty. The pronunciation sounds very ghetto-ish.
    If my name wasn`t Siobhan....:
The other name my parents had was Colleen--and I LOVE that name!
    Extra information:
When I turn 18, I plan to legally change my name to Katherine and use Siobhan as my middle name.

    Extra information:

The worst thing about the name:
The terrible nicknames! Sigh-O, Shibby, Shivvie, Shib-bay-bay, Vonnie, Shake your Bon Bon, Bonnie, Sigh-Oh-Bahan. And the way people pronounce it a lot of the time, and it makes it sound veryyy bad.
    If my name wasn`t Siobhan....:
It was going to be Caroline until my dad randomly threw Siobhan in there. Or Mairead, which wouldn't have been so bad at all.
    Extra information:
I used to hate this name. Now I'm glad I'm not known as Caroline C. (theres another Caroline in my grade) or Mairead of 2011, since there was a Mairead in the class ahead of me. Now I actually like my name and love that it shows my Irish roots. I only wish my last name was as Irish as my first name!!!
