People say it like Carrie but it's not pronounced with an A it's with a short E more like Keira.

I would be called Keira.

No one ever spells it right but everyone always likes it and thinks it cute. I like that it's not an overused name :)

Kerrie
It's such a sweet Irish name. I love the name in any spelling. Every other Kerrie I've met is pretty, smart and a bit mysterious so that's a good sign! It possibly got it's roots from the Celtic goddess of music Keridwen. It is NOT pronounced like Carrie though, a name I do not like. In Ireland it's pronounced with a short E sound not an A. Sounds like Keir-ee like its sister name Keira. :)
