Added on 2009, 06, 24. We wanted to put the crib in our room since it`s advised to have her sleep in the same room with us for the first year to help prevent SIDS. Paranoid first time parent I guess.

Added on 2009, 06, 24. This room is still unfinished. We need to add some finishing touches like pictures frames, wall art, etc. Also, we decided to go with a one color wall because we plan on moving next year and didn't want to do anything to elaborate since we are leaving anyways. Also, we decided on blue walls since the color tends to have a better calming effect. We decided to put a futon in the room because our bedroom is too hot in the summer. This way we can sleep downstairs also and spend the hot summer days down here. OH IGNORE THE BABY DOLL IN THE SWING...that's one of the tools we are using for our dogs in preparation for Carissa

Added on 2009, 06, 24. it was a spare room and this is a picture of it in the process of turning into the nursery. Only thing in there that was hers was her stroller - Peg Perego Pliko Switch (I LOVE IT! - Everyone should get one) and the carseat bases

looks like you thought everything out. very smart and ready to go! my husband and i put a pack-in-play on our registry with a bassinet also. we’re gonna have it in our bedroom for when he’s little… everything looks great!
