Added on 2008, 04, 03. i want you to see how having a baby on a budget doesnt have to cost you a fortune.. take a look !! cot from freecycle, i cut my old square mattress into the right shape for this cot. the bedding was all from a bootfair for £2 including matching curtains which i made into 2 sheets for the cot.. beautiful pooh bear theme which i love !!.... you see the bed in total including everything was £2.. ha ha



Added on 2008, 04, 03. we have no room for a nursery so this baby will have to be in with us untill he is big enough to share with alfie his brother...



Added on 2008, 04, 03. the nappy storage box was also from freecycle, it matches my cot bedding but again didnt cost me anything.. the steriliser again was nothing but all boxed with instructions... and my stack of wipes.. i add i did buy them ha ha, mind you they were on offer of buy one get one free..lol



Added on 2008, 04, 03. my 10 packs of nappies again were all on offer so i thought i would buy some to keep me going... ha ha i think i saved myself about a third of the cost as they were on offer



Added on 2008, 04, 03. i have collected enought clothes from freecycle to keep my baby dressed beautifully untill he is 2 i think... every draw is bursting to the seams... and this is only newborn and 0/3 mths.. oh and the draws were £10 from the tip...ha ha solid pine

Added on 2008, 04, 03. moses basket was from freecycle... the mobile also from freecycle and the kangaroo teddy i got at a jumble sale for 10p...... i think in total i have paid about £50 for this baby.. i have already got my pram and carrycot and carseat which i have paid for from ebay and the local paper again only costing me very little.. and i also got a buggy for the boot of my car very cheap..... i have managed to pay for everything i would say for aprox £120 including my nappys and wipes....i think i have done very very well thanks to freecycle.... maybe you ought to join..lol

right.. i thought i ought to add that freecycle is a site to prevent landfill, its as far as i know all over the place so try for yourself by visiting www.freecycle.org you will be given a yahoo email address when registering and then you can offer and receive items.. everything is free of charge (either to give or to receive)all the messages offered or wanted will be sent to your yahoo email to save the amount of freecycle ones going into your main email address... go and have a look and keep me posted if you manage to get on and get anything exciting ok....good luck ha ha
