i think this is such a cute room and i loved reading what you said under all the pictures lol you seem like a sweet woman..oh and i think you will be fine with the wall hangings..i have had pictures hanging in my rooms since i was an infant and have never once experienced one falling on my head lol!!! great job momma!

Thanks for the comments- and your concern over the wallhangings- though this isn't my first rodeo and my 5 year old son survived just fine with his decorations:) The wall hangings above her crib are light weight, hollow, and double secured. Her E is just a piece of wood from the craft section..... also double secured... and we placed a neighbor child (who is almost 3) in the crib, and they didn't come close to reaching the wall items (plus we change to a toddler bed at around 18 months- but anyway- thanks for your concerns- but I think we may have got it covered:)

what a well done room! i love all the little touches (esp Eva on the baby chest - adorable!). i have to say i agree 100% with the previous poster, the wall hangings may come loose, i'm sure they're glued/tacked on real strong but who'd like to take that chance with your beautiful baby in the room? crib sets come with soft wall hangings that look equally good and i'm sure you could find a nature/leaf theme to fit in with your design. the E also looks like solid heavy stuff. good luck!
