I am 19 weeks with #2 and been feeling movement for a few weeks, also every night baby goes to my right side, making my belly hard and noticably lopsided, however for the past 2 days i have had nothing, no movement whatsoever, and no lopsidedness. Has anyone had a sudden stop in fetal movement this early on? PLEASE HELP.

I had this happen to me too but I was a bit bigger. If it helps get a cheap fetal monitor where you can hear baby move to give you peace of mind even though you may not be able to hear the heart beat. if you still feel concerned go and see your doctor/midwife. The more you stress about it the more you wont feel anything but then when you go to the doctors you have movement they are little monkeys lol. Have a drink of orange juice and see if that helps movement, something sweet normally does. I hope I have helped and please if you feel that worried seek help x

I started feeling my baby at 17 weeks, I felt it for two or 3 days then it stopped. Then i didnt feel him for 3 days and then it was the same, some days i would feel him and then for 2 days i wouldnt. I only recently started to feel him everyday, i would say at about 23 weeks.
i am 27 weeks now. If you are worried than go and see you midwife. I am sure you wont be bothering them, its their job to check you over and help with any queries you have.
I am sure everything is fine.

I would drink orange juice wait a half hour, then lay with my left side down. You should feel movement. If you aren’t I would call the doc just to be on the safe side. Good luck.

it may be too early to feel movements all the time. depending on how the baby is positioned it may be harder to feel movements. but i agree- if you are very worried then go see a doctor just to be safe

Yes i had exeactly the same thing and i used to really worry. I would feel really strong movements for a good number of days and then nothing at all. Its just because your baby is still quite small and still have enough room to move about so has probably just moved to another position taht you can’t feel so much movement in. I never used to feel my baby at the top and only at the bottom because my placenta is on top. If your at all worried at all see your doctor and they will listen for the heartbeat. Hope this helps x

I am 21 weeks and the same thing happens to me. I think the baby is still too small to feel it all the time. x
