It's ear piercing just like a firecracker. He does it when he is excited seconds ago Baby development month by month (month 5) flowerschild: We never really did to much tummy time and I pretty much always hold David. I have been putting a blanket down in the living room and playing with him now that he can sit up. He does tummy time now that he rolls onto his tummy, he has been able to get back to his back but has not mastered it and usually gets pissed when he can't get over. He is starting to do pushups. seconds ago Pregnancy week by week (week 36) vickywoodhall: zellmer22- phew thats ok then lol, i have had this test for the itchiness too im just waiting for my results, im pretty sure i dont have it just a milder version of what you have perhaps, joders- im right with you, full of cold and 36 weeks pregnant sucks i seem to have one every few weeks just lately, hope i dont have one when i go into labour i need to be fighting fit! seconds ago Baby development month by month (month 12) daisymae : Thanks armymom. We just talked to the hospital and they said that as long as he didn't have a rash covering his body, especially on his chest and stomach that he's probably not allergic to the antibiotic. I'm thinking the face splotchiness started yesterday before we started the antibiotic. We're just going to keep an eye on him.. seconds ago Polls (poll 1257646138) -tubsywubsy added a comment on poll 1257646138: my mom put vanilla extract on my thumb, smells great taste yuck lol seconds ago Pregnancy week by week (week 33) mrsmom: I have a freind who gave me 4 packages of NB--but we had twins last time (were born wearing preemie size) and still never got through all the nb's and 1's we got as gifts. Needless to say, I am not buying any this time around until I need them. I love the Pamper Swadlers and Cruisers. Huggies always leak pee on me--don't like them but I know others who swear by them. In fact, I actuallyu prefer the Kirkland/Costco brand over Huggies if I am straying. Anyway, they make all different kinds because everyone likes different ones. We went through preemies, nbs, 1's and 2's all before 5-6 mos (and mine were born at 33 wks). Then, we used 3's from about 6 mos to maybe 11 mos. So we were in 3's for a long time--and then in 4's forever. I switched to 5's even though my girls are still only 22 lbs because we switched from the Cruisers to the Kirkland brand and they just are not as good, especially at night. My girls tend to still drink a lot at one time, so I find the bigger size is better for us. Plus, my girls are only 19 mos and one is already over 34 inches--so they are super long. So new moms, remember that in the beginning, your baby will grow about a half pound a week!!! yes, a half pound a week. NB diapers go to 8 lbs, but if you are like me, you will be moving to 1's at about 7 lbs. THe average baby is born about 7 lbs. Yes, they lose about 1/2 lb, but they gain it back in about a week. SO, you won't be in NB size very long. Same with 1's and 2's. I think their growth slows down around 5 or 6 mos if I remember correctly. seconds ago Polls (poll 1257691184) Austin::and::Alexs::Momma added a poll: Flaxseed - if you use it often, what do you add it to/in? seconds ago Baby development month by month (month 5) flowerschild: I gave him about a half of a teaspoon to start, I'll give him more today. I'm so afraid ofthe diapers now lol! seconds ago Baby development month by month (month 5) flowerschild: J's mom I totally agree with wait you are saying I regards to can't waits post. I know that when I am posting something in regards to Davids development I am sharing where we are at and am excited to share it. When I read a post regarding what another baby is doing I am excited for the baby and parents and yes I do use it to gauge where David is at comparativly because being a first time mom I really have nothing to go off of. One day can make a difference in their development and a week can make a huge difference. I even look months ahead to get an idea of where David might be at when we get there. On another note David decided that last night at 12:30 it was time to get up and start rolling around playing in bed, he can't really get off his tummy once he gets there so I would have to turn him over and he would just do it again and get pissed. I've got to get him in that crib before he starts crawling!
