My mood while writing this blog:

So, two things in this blog....

I am watching "Obese & Pregnant" i dont even know what to think about this show. I mean they are bringing light to somethings that suck about being obese and pregnant. Like maternity clothes, and how hard it is on your body. However, they are talking like this is an "intervention" show or sometimes. You can see the frustration on some of the medical staff becasue they need help moving around. They dont understand that these women know how fat they are and they know the risks that they are taking. They make it sound like big women shouldnt have babies! I am half-ass frustrated, and half-ass glad that they are bringing some of these issues to light.

Ok, so i had the D and C on the 21st and we havent been using protection. We dont really want to get pregnant right now. I, however, have not had my period... i should be starting soon i guess/hope. It will be 30 days tomorrow. I have taken 2 tests, they were both negative, soooo any guesses??????

Hi Amanda. I didn't get AF after m/c and ended up after taking provera to bring it on and still no show after 10 weeks, I took Clomid to bring on ovulation. Have you had regular cysles always. m/c can really muck up the body. Unfortunately most doctors are not interested until it has been over 6 weeks. Read my blogs if you want more info. I was very frustrated. Good luck

Hey Amanda....lol on the show...wish i woulda seen, I'm curious....as for the period....what did ur doc say? Is it SUPPOSE to be this long??? I woulda already called my doc b/c I'd b dying to know what the heck was going on....good luck girl.

Hey hun, ovulation can come at any time 4 - 6 weeks after a D&C, so pinpointing when AF should show up will be tough. Perhaps just test every few days - I'd say in the next two weeks you'll either have AF or a BFP. I never saw the show, but I'd say I'd have a similar reaction as yours to it. Leave it ti TLC to come up with some odd medical drama!
