29-12-2008 - My Dr. Appointment - 19 Weeks

Well, I am a little late writing this blog, but I thought I would go ahead since I had a free moment.

My Doctor's appointment went well on December 17th, but we were not able to find out the sex of the baby. I kept telling myself that I was going to ask the DR. to look, but I was just too excited to hear the heartbeat again. I figured that since we had waited this long, we could go a few more weeks. Yucky, but we will still be so thrilled when we find out at the end of January. The baby's heartbeat was 146 BPM this time?!?!?!?! I wish I could believe the old wives tales, but my sister proved all of those wrong? It is still fun to guess until we know for sure though.

My next appointment will be January 14th and they still dont plan to distinguish the gender at that time. This will again just be a routine check-up. Then, two weeks after that I will come in for our gender scan and my blood sugar test. I hope all goes well with that also.
