Hey Ladies and Bumps!

I had my Dr. appointment yesterday and everything went well. My little girl's heartrate was a strong 148 BPM. She must have had her back to my abdomen cause we heard her little heart the best that we have ever heard it. Usually she is moving around and we hear that along with the heartbeat, but this time she was calm.

My weight gain...AHHHHHH. I have gained 16 pounds so far and I keep hearing that that is good for being 23 weeks, but oh my goodness. I really didnt think I had gained that much :-( I am 5 feet 7 1/2 inches so I still dont look huge. I am all legs with a short torso which is why my stomach is really starting to pooch out.

However, more exciting news....My next appointment is January 27th and we will confirm that we are having a GIRL at that point!! Hopefully she has her legs spread wide for us this time. I love the modesty, but we gotta know!! I am sure I will let ya'll know as soon as I can!

Hey glad everything is going well! don't worry too much about the weight gain. You look great. :) Hopefully you'll get the confirmation that it's a girl and she'll have her legs open wide. Good luck with everything!
