03-8-2009 - week 8

My mood while writing this blog: exasperated

Okay, this is not the way I wanted to start this week off! Grapefruit sized uterus, I can tell people I'm pregnant-not fat! Or I can tell myself that at least! But no, my week starts with that devastating news of a miscarriage! For a follow up to my last commentary, I went to the MD today and he said everything looks great! Weird, right, since the ED told me I was PROBABLYdone! So far as he can tell, my uterus is the correct size for my dates, it is firm, and my cervix is closed. If this was a blighted ovum, my uterus would be small and soft, cuz there would be nothing to support it- i.e. a fetus. So I go tomorrow for a follow up quant count and go from there! If the numbers grow as they are intended, then go me!! If not, we make plans from there! I'm prayiong for the first choice but thats not in my hands at thi point. I'll know something Wednesday, so pray for me! Hoping to make it to week 9 and beyond!
