I had Medi-cal, I know its not the greatest insurance in the word but my husbands work dosn't offer benifits and health insurance for the whole family is just so much we couldn't afford it. Well I got a letter from my case worker stating that my benifits we're going to be cut off June 30th... I paniced and called her demanding WHY! She told me that I needed to provide more information. Now this who situation is probably going to work out but I have no idea how Im going to be able to cover this Dr apt or any to follow depending on how long all this takes. Im just stressed, I've had medi-cal for 2yrs now and they keep cutting just me off. Its really frustrating. I looked into some short term health care plans (6 mos) but I have yet to find one that covers labor and delivery?! I swear Im ready to have this baby here on my own. Since when did pregnancy become a medical condition that we as women could no longer do on our own..... its a bunch of BS. This is suppose to be a time where I get to enjoy the life growing inside me, Im not suppose to be stressed on the medical asspect of it all. Our society SUCKS!
