| 22-7-2009 - ABSOLUTELY GUTTED =( | My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
Hello ladies,
Well today i was experiencing flashing lights in my eyes, and when i bent over to empty Ashtons food into the bin i had little white dots falling infront of my eyes, then as i stood back up, they went. Also, the baby hadnt moved that much atall. So i rung up the hospital and they told me to come down. So, i packed the car and off i went. Andy had to ring his work to let them no he would be late, and his work were very understanding. So, we got there and i was taken to the feutal (sp?) assessement unit. I was hooked onto the moniters and was told to press a button when i felt baby move. Low and behold, she went mad and was moving lots. She even got the hiccupps!! My blood pressure was taken and that was fine and also my urine was clear.
I was then told that i was going to have a scan to check baby, which i was excited about. So, the doctor puts the scanner on my tummy, and noticed that the baby was breech. OMG i nearly cried. Thats not good considering im 37 weeks tommorow. She had been head down since 29 weeks, and was still head down 6 days ago at my midwife apointment, so in those 6 days she decided to turn. Im gutted. I have to have the baby turned, which isnt going to be nice for me, and hopefully she will stay head down. If she doesnt, well, we all no what could be an option. Im so upset, i want to give birth to her, it is the most natural feeling in the world, even a painful one at that but the best experience ever.
The doctor said theres alot of fluid which is why baby probably moved and also she isnt a big baby measuring at 2562g (5.6pounds) but shes measuring in the lines which is ok but at the lower end. I have been reassured that the baby will try and turn again on her own (fingers crossed) and also with second pregnancies, if the baby is manually turned, it has a high success rate. Im just hoping she does turn and she stays head down like she had been for nearly 10 weeks. ARRRGH why does she decide to do this now??! The little monkey.
Love me xxx
