| 28-7-2009 - My appointment today | My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
Hello ladies,
Well as you all no my little girl has been head down since 29 weeks until i went to the hospital for a check up at 36 weeks and 6 days gone and the doctor announced she had turned breech. Obviously me and my partner were devestated as she had decided to do it so close to my due date and was head down at my 36 week midwife appointment, so she'd turned breech within 6 days the little monkey!! This meant that a c-section was on the cards if baby didnt move head down with or without a doctors help. So, today i went in again to check baby and to see if i needed her turning.
I woke up in the morning with extreme period pains and alot of pressure down low which was a good sign. I told the midwife this when i turned up for my appointment so she decided to feel baby first. She felt all around my tummy and pressed down hard near my pubic bone and smiles saying "yes thats the head, but i will scan you to make sure" I was delighted but still a bit unsure. So, the midiwfe put the gel on my tummy and placed the scanner near my pubic bone and yep, her little head was down there in the right place. OMG i nearly cried, i was soooo over the moon!! She had decided to turn head down over night which is why i woke up in the morning with cramps.
The midwife was pleased for me and said that now baby is head down she will stay there, its very unlikely she will move, she has turned at the right time and getting ready for delivery.
YAY!!!!!!!
I hope your all ok
Love me xxx
