29-5-2009 - Echocardiogram update

My mood while writing this blog:
ok

We just had the echo about 2 hours ago... The tech said that his heart look UH-MAZING. It pumps very well and is getting blood in and out perfectly.

They took about 100 pictures...literally. The Pediatric Cardiologist called while they were doing the exam. The tech left the room and came back in and told us that they are going to send his pictures to him and have him read them and then we will have another appointment.

So in the end they think that one of the splints that are supposed to form 24 hrs. after birth didn't form fully and he does have a slight hole in his heart. but we will know for sure on wednesday when we get the reading from the pediatric Cardiologist.

After that appointment i will update again :-)
