25-1-2009 - I can't get out of bed!!!!

My mood while writing this blog:
Relaxed

For the past 2 days I have been in bed watching Lifetime. I had a headache yesterday and today I am nauseated. I'm not complaining but on the days that I don't have to work I stay in bed literally ALL DAY LONG!! I do get up to shower and put on a new gown but that is it, right back in the bed. I told my hubby this morning that I don't remember being this way the last time I was pregnant. I remember sleeping alot last time but this time around I have not been getting good sleep. He tells me that I am sleep, but I swear I feel like I am up all night. I can't get comfy so I toss and turn and go to the bathroom every two hours on the dot. I wonder why I use the bathroom so much at night. Or maybe I just don't notice it as much during the day.

My next prenatal visit is tomorrow and I am excited about it. I have an ultrasound scheduled first and then my appt. I work at the hospital that my ob's office is in so it works out great that I do work tomorrow. They told me that I can just come up and sign in and they will call me in my dept when the doc is ready to see. My boss is super cool and she said that is fine. This time around Keith will only come to the important visits. Well, they are all important but you know what I mean (1st visit, finding out gender etc.)

Well I pray that all of the mommies to be are feeling well and to all ttc much baby dust to ya!!

I know how you feel I have headaches and nausea that comes out of nowhere sometimes. I hope everything goes well at your appointment. Every pregnancy is different.

Hope everything goes well at your appointment tomorrow and that you get to enjoy sonogram!

I have found that if I take a bath instead of a shower (or at least take a bath a quick shower afterwards just to rinse off) it helps me sleep a LOT better. Also I try to limit how much I drink before bed, so I usually go to the bathroom once before getting in for the night then only have to get up once at night. Give it a try and see if it helps, ^_^

I was the same way. I ask my dr. was something wrong with me because i went to the bathroom like 3 to 4 times at night. she ask me was i think about something or did i think someone would break in my house. I told her no, my son just started sleeping in his room like 3 months ago. she said that i just might be use to him sleeping with me so i get up to check on him then i go to the bathroom. She tole me try not go get up and check on him that much and you should go the the barthroom less. I only go to the bathroom one time at night and that is at about 2am. You might have the same problem i had. good luck.

That works out PERFECT with you working in the same office as your OB, that's where you spend most of your time waiting to see the doctor for a 10min. visit. I wish you much luck tomorrow.
