So things are going back to normal....my stomach is shrinking......my hormones are calming.......my ankles aren't so swollen. Our little Angel still has her days and nights mixed up but I love it. Of course a few times a day I break down a bit.....so tired my body just wants to shut down. At 4am when she is up for the third time in a row (since she refuses to sleep on her own for more than 30 minutes at a time) I put on the DVR with whatever is on and just enjoy my time with her. Sadly this will be my last time to stay up watching TV land while feeding my precious baby.....I am enjoying every second. I myself still cannot sleep laying down because it is still so painful so I sleep upright on our couch with a pillow and my blanket. My wonderful husband is sleeping on the other couch next to me. We miss each other....cuddling each night....like we have for the past 5 1/2 years......but we know that it is normal and that there will be many times after this that we will have our bed back and our cuddle time. No we aren't trying to put each other on the back burner but we know that this time will be the last and well....the first time you can't wait to sleep through the night......the second time you know that time passes way too fast and you try to enjoy it....then your last time you try and squeeze every drop of those moments out since you know it wont ever happen again. These times will be missed....for now we are loving every crazy sleepless moment.
