TTC SURVEY
1.Name of the future mommy to be? Brandy
2. Name of the future daddy to be?: Michael
3. How long have the future parents been together?: Almost 12 years
4. When did you start trying to conceive?: October 2008.
5. What is the hardest part of T.T.C?: The 2 Week Wait.
6. What does the future mommy want to have?: I have 3 girls so I would love a boy, but would be happy with either.
7. What does the future daddy want to have?: He really wants a boy
8. Is there a certain month or season you'd like to have the baby in?: Spring or Fall would be nice. I have 3 summer babies.
9. What are you looking forward to most when you finally conceive?: Sharing the news with my husband and seeing the look on his face.
10. What has been the best thing about the T.T.C. process? So far it has been nothing but stress and more stress, but I've stopped charting etc and it seems to be alleviating a lot of the pressure and things are getting better.
11. Pick out any names yet, for when the big day comes?: I like Aiden Michael for a boy, but it will probably be Michael Shawn after his daddy. I don't really have a girl name. I like the names Emily and Faith tho.
12. Any certain reason for choosing those names?: Daddy's name and girl names that I like.
14. What things do you do to check for when your fertile?: I use to temp every morning, use Opk's and check CM, but I'm taking a break from all of that this month.
15. Do you use Ovulation Tests?: usually, but not this month
16. What does the future daddy do to help you with T.T.C. process?: Not much, the pressure has been too much for him, but now that I've stopped "making everything so clinical" as he puts it, I think it will get better. Seems to be better already.
17. How long do you plan on continuing the T.T.C process?: Until it happens
18. Will you consider In-Vitro or any other type of Infertility medicine?: I had a tubal ligation reversal so it may come to that eventually, but for right now we are trying the old fashioned way.
19. Have you had your pre-conceiving physical?: Yes.
20. How many children would you like to have?: 1....maybe 2
21. Have you started buying some baby stuff?: I do have a bassinet and pack n play.
22. Any books that you've read that have been helpful?: What to Expect When You're Expecting. I had this book with my last pregnancy 13 years ago. I got it again but doesn't seem as informative to me as it did then for some reason.
23. Is your family and friends supportive of deciding to T.T.C.?: The few we've told are. Thankfully, they aren't always asking if we're pregnant yet.
24. Have you made any BIG changes in your life to help you conceive? Mostly just what I eat and drink and taking vitamins. Starting tomorrow I'm going to work on losing 50lbs. I swear I'm going to do it this year!!!
25. Have you abstained from alcohol and drugs? Yes!
28. Are you healthy enough to be pregnant?: Yes, although I weigh more now than I ever did 9 months pregnant with my other pregnancies.
29. Do you really think your ready to be a parent?: I was very young when I had my 3 daughters. I believe I have been a good parent to them, but feel I will be much better now that I'm older etc.
26. So if you unfortunately do not conceive, then what?: Then it is what it is, but I hope God has a miracle in store for us!!!
