| 28-1-2009 - CD 10 bleeding??? |
My mood while writing this blog: Confused/ Worried |
I am on CD 10- I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was red blood and I kept wiping and there was more and more blood. I've never had mid cycle bleeding and my last AF was way different that usual. I started spotting around 10-11 DPO and spotted for about 5 days then had AF like normal for 1 day and it was light and spotty after that and now I am bleeding again. I am not currently taking any meds and haven't bd so I know that didn't cause the bleeding. When I noticed my AF wasn't normal I thought about testing, but with my temp going down and staying down, I didn't think it was necessary to test. I have had some bouts with nausea but haven't thrown up. The other night my dh was cooking eggs and hashbrowns and the smell made me so light headed and nausious that he had to help me to the bedroom. I thought I was going to be sick but only dry heaved. I've had a lot of headaches for the past 2 weeks, I've just ignored it thinking my body just likes playing games with the pregnancy like symptoms. but now I'm bleeding again and don't know what to think. Has anyone experienced this? The fact that my temp went down and has stayed down means there is no way I'm pregnant, right? I'm due to ovulate in about 4 days. I appreciate any and all input =)
ETA: I tested and this is what I got. It's blue dye test and I don't trust them at all, but it's the only regular hpt I had. I also have digitals and tried one of them and it was BFN. I really just hope this is hormones because I broke my leg last week and since AF had just ended there were really no precautions to protect a pregnancy from radiation. I should also add that I had a tubal reversal in July so I'm at a higher risk for an ectopic pregnancy. I haven't had any pain or cramping.

Thursday, 29 Jan Thanks everyone. The test used was a +/- test from the dollar store. It looks a little werid because I tool it apart. The vertical line showed up almost immediately but I didn't trust it because it's a blue dye test. I took another one (same brand) this morning with fmu and there was no vertical line and the spotting has stopped. I don't know what to make of any of it, but I'm due to ovulate in 2-3 days and I have ewcm like normally do this time of the month so hopefully regardless of what was or wasn't going on I will still ovulate in a few days. Thanks again for all of your responses. Amyirene74 -
Thursday, 29 Jan Try the Walmart equate brand tests with the pink dye. I had them pick up an hcg level of less than 13. mrscable2 -
Thursday, 29 Jan send hubby to the dollar store and get a $1 test they show positive as early as like 30 hcg which is extrememly early...... that is what I have tested with all times and got my positives on those as ealy as 7DPO I am having a hard time reading this test as I have never seen one b4 however like the PP said def looks like a line crossing the horizontal line get a test from the dollar general sometimes you have to ask for them behind the desk they work so much better and really arent costly Vicki--mommy of 4 -
Thursday, 29 Jan I'm not sure. I'm not familiar with that kind of test but I do see a a line crossing the horizontal line. If that's how it shows positive, then I def see the line. I would say go to the doc and get a blood test. As far as the x-ray, you were not far enough along to affect a pg. Good luck hun, let us know how it turns out! Vicki--mommy of 4 -
Thursday, 29 Jan You're right, test then go to the doc and see what's going on. I think that's your best bet. Good luck hun! 1more4us -
Wednesday, 28 Jan When I got the spotting at 10dpo, I really hoped it was implantation bleeding, but when my temp took a dive and stayed down, and then af started, even tho is was lighter than normal, I thought the temp drop sealed the deal and I was out. I called my RE's office and they said to test and we'll go from there. I'm going to test here soon and see what happens. Thanks again and I'll keep you posted.
