13-8-2009 - doctors appt and ultrasound

My mood while writing this blog: tired

okay, 10 am was my docts appt yesterday. we heard the heartbeat which was 159. everytime we hear it my husband and i debate back and forth with the doc as to whether it means boy or girl lol...everything checked out great, and he said i was pretty much out of the woods for miscarriage, which was a relief, but after two, i still worry a little. i go back in 2 wks.

ULTRASOUND!!!!!

i wanted yesterday to be perfect! my husband and i went to the hospital, to get our ultrasound orders. as we were coming out of that little office there sat his ex fiance!!!! made me sick to my stomech. brandon and i went up to the ultrasound waiting room. I had drank so much water it wasnt even funny, and oj because i heard it will help wake the baby up and they will have more of a chance to see everything. my appt was for 330. i had a full bladder and it was pushin 400. i pushed the little button and asked this girl how full my bladder really had to be at 18 and a half weeks for the ultrasound. she was really rude, and told me i needed to hold it. i waited a few minutes longer and decided holding it was no longer an option! i had to go!!!! a few minutes later the ultrasound tech came out to get me and i told her i didnt know if it was going to be a problem, but i had to pee. she asked me how far along i was and said we should be fine. i was soooo mad at that first girl for making me miserable!!!! brandons grandma showed up and came in the room with us. that was the most amazing thing ever!!! the ultrasound tech pointed out every little detail, and when she said we were having a little girl, i just cried!!! and kept crying...lol..brandon looked so happy, he didnt cry but you could see it in his face. he is excited to have a little princess! her name is Makenah Lorelle. Lorelle being his great grandmas name. as we were leaving we were standing in the lobby and talking and here came his ex again!!! then i found out that she had seen my brother in law and his wife a few months ago and was askin if he was single. it is just eating at me!!!! she is trying to weasle her way back into his life. he completely comforted me,. and assured me that i had nothing to worry about . which made me feel a lot better, but that does not stop the fact that she is trying!!! but good news is we have a healthy baby girl on the way, and i have an amazing husband, and i wouldnt trade it for the world. well that was my exciting day lol....

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!! IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU AND YOUR HUBS!!!!!!!!!!! I still have two weeks till we find out what our little one is going to be! But I get exctied for people on here everytime they find out!! congrats again!!
