21-12-2010 - 36 week check up

My mood while writing this blog: Sick

Went to my 36 week check up with my midwife yesterday.....I feel like crap tho, I have a bad cold, chest congestion, coughing, runny nose, no appetite and also a slight fever. My midwife told me a list of OTC meds I can take and I feel bad taking them but I know I need to get better for Laila. My fundal height is measuring 38 and when she took babies HR it was elevated to 160-170 because of my infection. I feel so bad that me being sick is causing stress on my little one.

My midwife did my group B test so I will find out the results of that soon, she also checked my cervix which is still not dialated and still high and long. She told me to start taking EPO to hopefully soften my cervix and she also told me and the hubby to keep having sex. Well let me go continue to get some more rest, I called out sick at work yesterday and today but I am going to try to go back tom.

Man I was hoping I could go this whole pregnancy without getting sick but I guess it wasnt meant to be.
