My mood while writing this blog: not sure... |
So went to doc for 32 week check up, baby Marco is healthy and weighs a staggering 2.3kg's!! That's 5.07 pounds!
Then i also got the blood resluts, and she told me that i have an inactive thyroid, am on altroxin. I didnt ask many questions as i think i was a bit shocked to be quite honest, but now i want to know...what does this really mean??? For me??I know it doesnt affect my baby at all, but does that explain why i have gained so much weight?? And after baby will i gain more?? Whats happening to my body???
I now weigh 171.2 pounds and use to weigh 127.86pounds!
Will it go away after the pregnancy? She said that she sees it alot in women who have just given birth and that its also associated with post natal depression...i dont want that!
I just feel like ive lost the fight without even starting, and thats not me at all!
So much for hot soccer mom, more like blimping blob:)
Sorry, im bitching, i should be more happy that my baby is healthy, and i am, but wow...

Tuesday, 3 Mar Ah, girl, i hate this for you. I don't know about inactive thyroid but I know what it feels like to be diagnosed with something you feel you have no control over. If I don't stick to a diabetic diet my insuline levels and hormones go off the charts and I can literally gain a pound a day. It's a hard battle and an every day battle. Before I got pregnant I was on an 800 calorie a day diet to get my body to lose weight. I practically have to starve myself! I did it though, so I could ovulate and get pregnant since my chances were slim. Listen, the interenet is an all too easy way to get information but it can also be a way to get not so accurate information that will scare the Sh&t out of you. Get books and websites like this that may be a huge support and help answer questions. Above all else, ask you doctor questions! If they can't see you just for that call them and ask them were to go to find accurate information so you can learn about this. Chin up, you'll be the hot soccer mom, you just need to arm yourself with the right tools and information so that you can attack back!!! I'm here for you any time you need to vent. My heart goes out to you. Please don't let this get you down. Get up and find out what you can do about it. A lot of people with what I have just sit back and let it beat them but I got to where I had it under control and was feeling great and looking great too. None of thebad side affects were getting to me becasue I knew how to keep them at bay. You can do that too, I'm sure of it. notnottrying -
