Well I lost my mucous plug on Friday. Yay me!!! Anywho my bf woke me up this morning b/c I was moving around alot every few minutes. Well since 10:30 am I have been having contractions all day about every 5-7 minutes. I have talked to my mid wife 2 times today already. 1st it was drink 2 big cups of water and lay down...well Im on bedrest, already lying down! (DUH!!!). Next it was call back when they are stronger and 2-3 minutes apart. Why is the info always changing? The pain hurts but isnt unbearable b/c I have dealt with worst for years. From the time my pd started til age 18 my cramps have been crippling. I mean to the point of crying in agony, not being able to walk, vomitting all day and missing school the first two days (sorry for tmi). So Im just concerned about going into actual labor @ home. I know its rare but alot of things that happen to me are rare! I have been trying to relax all day but its kinda hard to do when your cramping and your stomach tightens just about every 5 min. Im gonna try to take a bath...maybe that will help relax me???

Ok girlie! U know your body....not your midwife.
It's always better to be safe than sorry. The hosp. will just check u out & send u home if need be. I went in with my first preg. & they gave me a pill so stop my contractions & gave me a sleeping pill to get me to my next morning appt with my doc. I ended up having her the very next day.
Listen to your body- go to the hospital if u think theres even a slight chance you could be getting close :D Take care !
