03-9-2009 - Trip to the hospital

My mood while writing this blog:
ok

Well i have had a very long day. I was having cramps in my belly and they were hurting. So i called my doc and they said to come in and get monitered. So i found a place for my boys to go. So i got to the hospital about 3. They checked to see if i was diolating more and thank god i was not. So they montired me for a while and they seen i was contracting and wanted to make sure the placenta was ok. They took a scan and she looked good. Then the doc came in and said that within 45 mins they would know if we were having a baby or not tonight. So of course that made all of us worried as we are only 33 weeks. My hubby is in new jersery and was trying to get some sleep but, decided screw the sleep that he wanted to be on his way home just in case if we were having a baby. Then a little while longer she decides that she wants to check Ivy and make sure that she is good. So i had to wait for another scan. I waited for over an hr to get it done. So they came in finally and started messuring her and checking her heartbeat and her breathing. I asked her to plz make sure that we are having a girl. She said she would look but, didnt sound like she would find anything. Well the cord was inbetween the legs but then she moved a little bit and the lady said that we are deffinealy having a baby girl. I was happy to hear that. So then we started the waiting game again. After 2 1/2 hrs they came in with the results that she looked perfect and that my cervix was over 2 so that sounded great. She also said that Ivy weighs about 3 pounds and 8.5 oz which is good for how many weeks we are. So we fianlly got outta there. I am glad nothing was worng and that we didnt have her tonight. I think Ivy cant wait to meet her family and that is why things seem to be moving fast. My doc dont think i will make it to the c-section date but, we are all crossing our fingers and hoping she does. Well i better go i am so tired after a long day. Ivy must be waving bye as she is punching me lol. Oh yea she is head down already!

Glad to hear yall are doing ok... We found out at my last appt that Im highrisk for premature labor due to my cirumplavatte placenta issues so my heart goes out to you.... Im only 17 weeks and already stressing about it... Sounds like your sweet little girl is already a good size for how far along you are...maybe she'll hold on a few more weeks to get even stronger! Good luck girl!
