20-10-2008 - Learning to Eat

My mood while writing this blog: Hungry

This week, Symphony got her first taste of solid food. Although it was only a little bit of watered down rice cereal, she seemed to like it OK. I had forgotten until this point that people don’t know how to use a spoon. So, just watching her figure this out is pretty funny and very humbling. Little ones learn things so very fast! Her Dad is a really good cook. Maybe she will cook like him? I hope so. As parents, her dad and I will teach her to explore the world through trying foods from different cultures. I hope she will learn good eating habits and develop a great sense of taste. Bon Appétit!
