Got my postive test this morning. :) The digtal one because I don't like the others they give me false postive. The digtal says pregnant. I am still in shock. I will go Monday for blood test to see where my hcg levels are. My parents came over and I had my daughter tell them that mommy is having another baby. It was so cute and my parents were very happy for us.

Numbers came back today they were 140 which is a good number. My results from the prostgone test never came back yet. But they keep telling me I need to start Prometrium. I really don't have $175 right now. Also I have never lost a baby in the first 12 weeks. The two I lost was in the second trimester due to IC. The nurse was disagreeing with me saying I need to take it that my numbers are not high but they are good. Normal is 50 and my was 70. That did not make since to me. Last time I was pregnant my numbers were 112 when I tested. We will see they said they will call me tonight or tomorrow to let me know my numbers if they are normal or low if they are low for sure I will take them and find the money. I understand they want to be safe. So I will take another HCG test on Jan. 5th, and Jan 12th. Then I will have my first ultrasound on Jan. 13th at 9:30am.

December 30, 2008

My levels came back and they were low they were 7.6 and they were suppose to be 18. So tonight I am going out and getting the Prometrium. I have called all day around to get and found one place that says its capsuale but you can take it down there. So I called back my dr. office and had them call it in. My parents are going to loan me the money to pay for this. Yeah for parents. Hopefully it will not cost as much as Wal-greens we will see. So tonight and for the next eight weeks I will be taking 3 200mg Prometrium at night before bed. I hope this works. I am so scared of the not knowing part.

So yesterday I went to Costco because they said they had the meds for me. When I showed up and presented my insurance card they said oh your insurance won't pay for this because they will only allow 2 times a day not three. What do you mean you can't call them and get a special authorization. What they have to do is send it back to the dr. office and they send it to the insurance explaining why I have to take 3. This will take about a week but because of the New Year it can take longer. Great. So how many do you want you have to pay out of pocket. Boy I was made, it was already 5:30pm at night so I could not go anywhere else. I needed to have them last night. So for a 30 supply that will last me ten days was $102 with no insurance. What makes me mad is how does insurance compies tell how many you can have their not doctors. So now I have to deal with this because I have to take this meds up to 12 weeks and I only on week 5.

January 4th, 2009

Wow it is already 2009 boy does time go by fast. Last week I went online to my meds insurance and found out I could get a 90 supply of the Prometrium for $55 I will take it and I can afford that. So I went to the dr. office and they filled it out and faxed it to my insurance some time this week it will arrive. I am hoping by Friday because I run out of my meds this Friday if it does not arrive then I wil have to go get more of out of pocket. I will do anything to keep this little baby. But it is all working out. So I have taken it every night before bed. It is not that bad then I thought.

So tonight I was telling the whole family we were pregnant. I put on shirts on my twins that say "I am a big sister/brother". I did this last time hoping the family would catch on. My aunts were the first. They caught on right away and said congrats but did not seem to happy. Then came my sister, brother and his wife. So I had to say look at the kids shirts and my sister blurt out "Oh your pregnant" that was it no congrats, how far along are you, nothing. Then my sister-in-law said congrats and gave me a hug. My brother nothing. Oh while, the only people that matter that are happy is my hubby and I and the kids. When I ask are we having a boy or girl they both say boy. Before I got pregnant they were telling me they wanted a sister. We will see.

January 5th, 2009

So today I went to give my hcg level blood test. It came back 2,133 which is a good number. It was suppose to be in the 1,000 so far so good. The dr. office told me to keep up what I am doing. I will. The systoms I have so far is sore boobs, tired alot I have to take a nap during the day, and have not had no morning sickess just gets naus. here and there. I have been lazy to not doing much. So I go on the Monday the 12th for another blood test and then on Tuesday the 13th at 9:30am I have my first u/s which I am excited. I am taking my mom because she has never seen a baby that tiny before and hubby has seen four and he is ok with it. Untill next Monday.

January 12th, 2009

Alright so this morning I went into the out patient clinic to give my blood for my last HCG levels. What a morning. So I was the first person giving blood. There is this little old lady and she is very sweet. But sometimes she can not get my blood. She tried three times in my right arm and could not get a vein. So she called and got another lady to come and get my blood out of my other arm. Well, my vein's are not that great in the other arm so she took it from my biceip very painful and I got a bursie from it. When she took out the blood it came out very slow. They bearly got enough for the test. I guess my blood does not want to come out anymore. Well, I called my dr. office a couple of hours later to get my results and the numbers for today is 17,015 which are still good numbers. Can't wait to tomorrow when I go in for the u/s. YEAH!!!! I will update tomorrow on how it goes.

January 13th, 2009

So today I had my first ultrasound. I took my 3 year old daughter and mom. My dauaghter was excited to see the baby at first she thought she could already hold it but when we saw the baby on the ultrasound she understand the baby was in mommy's tummy. My mom enjoyed the ultrasound this is the first time she got to see a baby so early. So before the ultrasound took place the nurse says ok if we see a heartbeat today there is a 80% of the baby going to full term. Kind of scary advise. So she started the ultrasound and there is a heart beat growing strong and the baby is measuring 6 weeks 0 days. But no matter what my due date will be September 5, 2009. I have included the picture below. I am so excited and still very scared. So my next appt with my ob will be in two weeks with the nurse then the week after another ultrasound I will be 9 weeks then the following week I have an appt with the dr and then in two more weeks with my high risk dr. I am ready for as many appts.

January 27th, 2009

So today I had my nurse appt. to go over question I had to answer no big deal. I also had my ultrasound :) they had to cancel next week and schelde it for today right after another. So my hubby got off work early and we took our two little ones because they wanted to see the baby. I had a vaginal ultrasound and they lady who was doing the ultrasound was training and she was having a hard time finding the whole baby, finally the other lady who has been doing it for years took over. They were having a hard time because the way the baby was postion and my uterus is upright the lady said I don't know what that means. Once they got our llittle one he/she was measuring 8weeks 0days which is right on track and there was a little heart beat just beating away. On their machine they could not listen to the heart beat yet. Maybe next time. So in two weeks I go see the dr. and then the high risk dr. I am so glad things are going well. I still feel sick all day long and very tired. Plus on top of that I have a sinus infection hoping it goes away on its own. Tonight I asked my little ones what we are having and they both are saying its a girl before it was a boy. It will be interesting to see what we are having to see if they are right.

Alright so it has been weeks now since I updated. I saw my ob last week on Febrauary 12th and everything went well. He did say my boobs were tender don't know what that means. He said I was closed and doing well down below so I was glad with our visit. He also said he wants to keep a close eye on me and he wants to see me every two weeks and at 15 weeks he wills start giving me the 17p shots. Alright. I also got a call from my high risk dr. that she is referring me to another dr. that is her on call dr to put in the cerclage. I was very upset because I really like her and don't want a new dr. The nurse even told me that after I meet this dr I can change and he could be my ob all the time and get rid of the ob now. We decide that we would be the dr. first and then decide.

So this week on Feb. 17th I meet the new high risk dr. First off we did not have a babysitter for our kids so we took them. Well when we got to the office I was reading their policy's and it said no children allowed. A ob office and you can't bring chilren oh while our kids were there but now I know can't bring them again. That is so dumb so women don't have babysitters all the time and sometimes you have to bring your children. Alright after this we went into the office answered strange questions. Then we were told we were going to get an ultrasound which we liked. Then the dr. came in asked what hospital did we want to deliver at and I said I am not that far yet. Then he asked if we were swtiching our care to him and I said not right now and he got mad. Then I was trying to explain that I have IC and need a cerclage and was trying to explain my last pregnancy and he was not listening and kept saying well he does not know for sure if I have IC or not. He has to wait to my other high risk dr. can confirm this and then go from there. Ok, my other high risk dr. referred me to him and why would she did that if she did not beleive I have this. It was making he was not listening at all to me. He said that he normally puts in the cerclage between 13 -15 weeks. But he would wait to see what my other high risk dr. says when I go see her next week. If she wants in put in next week then he will but it in. I asked about the 17p shots and he said maybe I will take them. He then explain how the cerclage is placed it is about a ten minute thing and I will be in and out of the hospital that day. I then asked about bedrest and he said well after the cerclage is placed that in a week I will come back to him for a check up and he will see where he placed the cerclage and let me know from there if I need bedrest or not. He said that he does not beleive that bedrest helps at all. Guess what I will be putting myself on full bedrest Then he did the ultrasound which was a joke he saw the baby and it was moving and that was it. No listening to the heartbeat nothing. It was like he just wanted to see if I was really pregnant. It was werid. Before I left he had me sign forms because he wants all my medical history from the other drs. In my opinion if my other high risk dr referred me why did she not send over about me, he could of read it and that way knew why I was there and knew more about me. I just felt going to him was a joke. After we meet with him my hubby and I have decided to keep my regular ob and him for the cerclage only.

So yesterday I get a call from my regular ob office that they received a fax from a total different dr. name saying I am swtiching obs. I said no. I gave them the dr. I saw saying he is putting in my cerclage and wants to make sure I have all my prentals because he did not believe me and that I am not swtiching dr. He is just putting in my cerclage please don't drop me. I am keeping my ob. I really like him. So now it is a waiting game to Tuesday when I go meet my other high risk dr. where she will be doing an ultrasound to see how big the baby is and make sure everything is ok and probaly to ask what I thought of the new dr. which I will tell her and that I will be keeping my regular ob. He in the past has work with the high risk dr. and with women who have cerclage placed and that is what I am going to do. Until next week.
