So yesterday I had an ultrasound done at the high risk dr. We got to see our little one. But he or she was beeing to stuburn to show us what they are. Next time. The baby is doing really well. We got to see the baby bouncy everywhere. It was so cute. The baby heart beat was 158 which is good and I am measuring 12w 4days yestersday which is good. So I did get a chance to talk to the dr. and ask her the questions I needed to. She said it is safe for me to be put under for the cerclage so which I am going to try to do and she also said I can keep my regular ob. So I will be seeing him and her which is fine with me. I will go in on Friday to the hospital and have the cerclage placed. A part of me is scared but will do anything for my little one. I do have an appt tomorrow with my regular ob and then on Friday the cerclage.

Feburary 28,2009 (CERCLAGE DAY)

So today I had my cerclage placed. I was scared all morning long my mom came with me and my hubby was coming before surgey. My appt. was at 1pm and I had to be there at 10am. So of course I was late and arrived half an hour late due to parking. There was no parking any where. I even got a call from the hospital asking if I was coming. I did not wait very long in the waiting room. I was hooked up to antics and iv and was asked a lot of questions and the nurse said they were already for me upstairs early. So instead of 1pm I went in at 12:30pm. When I was moved upstairs I talked to the dr and asked a lot more questions which he said I would do fine. Then the anesthesiologist came to talked to me. They were two ladies and they were very nice. They gave me two options spinal block or to be put under. I could not make up my mind because if I was put under I had to be tube but if I had the spinal block I could see everything. I was wondering how the produrce would go I guess they put your legs up to put the cerclage in. So because I could not decide they decided to put me under. So I went under for the produrce was done I woke up and did not feel different. The dr. told my husband that my cervix looked really good and he was able to get the cerclage has high as he wanted it. I only had a little bleeding and no cramping which is really good. The next day I woke up with my body being a little sore and my neck very sore for being so stress the day before.

March 4, 2009

Today I had my checkup after the cerclage. The dr. did an ultrasound where he showed me the cerclage and that my cervix was still long. Then he was done and said I bet you want to see your baby. YES!! Because his ultrasound not that great I did not get good pictures I did not care as long as I got to see my little one. The little one was moving like crazy and was sucking its thumb. It was so cute. I have decided to count down the weeks not the days. Weeks seem to go by faster then days right now. The dr. said that I can still continue my daily activites just take it easy. But my husband and I have decided that I will continue to stay on bedrest just to be safe. I can't emontionaly lose another baby. Staying on bedrest right now is easy. I have twins who are turning 4 and they are having a blast with mommy in bed. They get to be my helpers by getting my lunch that my husband prepares the night before, getting water, it is so cute.
