March 12, 2009

So I am 14weeks 5 days. I went to my regular ob today and had a vaginal exam I was almost in tears because it hurt. He said it felt long and closed which is good. I also got to hear the heart beat it was good and strong. I went into the dr. appt ready with questions over the last two weeks from last time I saw him. I asked him do I go off the baby aspirn he said no I will continue through my pregnancy. Last time I ended up with blood clots and he said this will help prevent it. I will start 17p shots next week they have to find a place where I go and get them. He also told me all my ultrasounds will be with my high risk dr. So I have three more weeks until I go. Then I asked about when I lay on my left side at night and I cough I get a real bad pain in my side he said it was a muscule spams. Boy do they hurt but nothing is wrong with my little one. Then I had to ask about consipation he said to take Colace 2 times a day and also get the fiber powerd and put in my drinks. Lets hope this helps. Before I left he does want me to go and get my thyorid checked. So I will be doing that tomorrow. Overall a good appt. I am feeling ok still on my bedrest as much as I can. I am hungry like crazy all the time. I did not gain any weight in the last two weeks which is good because I have been gaining weight like crazy. I also take the last prometrium tonight. I think it will feel werid not taking it since I have been taking it for so long. But the shots are suppose to replace it. Well, hope everyone is doing well. Next appt. is March 26, 2009.

March 16, 2009

Today I notice a increase in discharge and it is clear. It made me worry to so I called my dr. office to make sure it is normal. The nurse called me back to come in tomorrow to have the dr. checked on it. I am scared not knowing what it is.

March 17, 2009

So today I went to the dr. office and explained to him that I have had an increase in discharge I can feel it coming out and it is when I drink more water and I think it is cleared because I see nothing. So he checked me down below and said he saw nothing no increase in discharge and cerclage looked good. But just to be safe he will send me to my high risk dr. to have an ultrasound done to make sure it is not the sack I am leaking. So my appt is at 2:30pm tomorrow.

March 18, 2009

So today this morning I got a call from the dr. office to change my appt to 11:30am I took it so I don't have to wait much longer. So we went into the office and was called back to the ultrasound room. The lady looked at the baby and said the sac looked really good, the cerclage looked good, and the baby is growing well. We also found out that we are having a GIRL :) we are very happy. She is a very busy baby inside. Then I saw my high risk dr. and she said everything looked good she will see me in four weeks for another ultrasound and at 22 weeks I will start taking the test to see if I will delivery preturme labor. I told her I will start taking the 17P shots next week and she bleives I don't need them but it will not hurt me to take them and if my dr. wants to give them to me that is fine. So I will start the shots next week and have my dr. appt next week.

March 26, 2009

So I was suppose to have dr. appt today but it was cancelled so it will be next week instead. But I still had to go in for my first shot of 17P shots. So when the nurse gave it to me it did not hurt. About an hour later my hip started to hurt but went away quickly. So I guess getting this shot once a week is not going to be so bad after all. This week on Monday I started getting a bad sinus infection which was causing my tooth to hurt. I ended up going to the walk-in clinic because my regular dr. did not have any appt. and they gave me meds. My tooth has stop hurting but I still have my infection. Can't wait to it goes away. Right now I am 16 weeks going on 17weeks and I can feel my little girl moving like crazy. I love to feel her move, it brings tears to my eyes to be able to feel life inside of you. We also have came up with a name Lilly Ann.
