05-5-2008 - spotting trying to stay positiveMy mood while writing this blog:
trying to stay positive

I noticed Saturday after shopping all day with my mom that I had a little pink-ish discharge. I put a pad on but didn't say anything because I didn't want to cause alarm while my parents were in town visiting. We went out for an ice cream and when we returned an hour or so later, it had stopped. I'm thinking oh thank God...it was nothing. All day Sunday I was feeling pretty pregnant, sore bb's, sleeping all day on the couch, frequest bathroom stops, waves of nausea followed by bouts of starvation. I even came close to vomiting a few times. Then today, back at work, the spotting returned. I am concerned but its still early in the pregnancy and i don't think there is a whole lot they can do at the doctors. I guess I should probably call the but I am afraid of what they will say, last time this happened I miscarried. I'm just trying to ignore it and hope it will go away.

I would probably still let your doctor know, if I were you...but it sure sounds like you are fine. Take it easy and keep staying positive. My fingers are crossed that you won't see any more spotting or have any more cause for concern. ~Angela
