| 22-5-2008 - What nerve! | My mood while writing this blog:annoyed |
So I called my Ob/gyn to see about rescheduling my next appointment from June 2nd to some time next week and the receptionist was such a witch!
My husband is on vacation next week and since at my next visit they are doing a complete physical and listening for the heartbeat with the doppler, he really want to be a part of it. I called them and explained the situation and she was like..."We don't like to rush the pregnancy, if you come too soon you will waste everyones time and just be disappointed if we don't hear anything. It really shouldn't be done before 10-12 weeks."
So, now I'm wondering, 1) what difference does a few days make honestly since as far as I know I'll be 10 weeks next Friday the 30th, 2) why have so many people on here already had successful ultrasounds, ect, 3) What gives her the right?!?
I ended up getting a new appointment for Friday the 30th. I was originally supposed to see the doctor but she said he was not available and scheduled me with the NP who I was told can do all the same things the doctor can. The witchy woman was breathing heavy at me by the end of our conversation and was obviously feeling annoyed with me.
Seems to me it was a VERY reasonable request!!!!
