30-6-2008 - Swinging Pendulum

My mood while writing this blog: thinking of a zillion other things I should be doing right now!

One of the nurses I work with, Rebecca, is into spirits and reading tarot cards and things like that. She has been obsessing with my pregnancy since I told her (but in a good way). She gave me a tarot card reading (just for fun ladies) and the cards I chose were "Cleanse and detox" which she attached to my pre-pregnancy life of going out partying, smoking, and acting inappropriately, "Daydream" which she says is what I should be doing now draming about what is to come with the baby and "Move On" She says into a new chapter in my life...And then she brought in a pregnancy pendulum to hang over my belly. She claims it has been accurate with her own pregnancies and her sisters as well to predict the sex of the baby. My husband and I am NOT interested in finding out the sex so of course I let her do it as it is not scientific and we'll have no way of knowing if she is right till the baby gets here. Sooo, what did the pendulum predict? Well after claiming my coworker Betty was a boy (to which Rebecca laughed and said the pendulum was messing with her) it claims we are having a BOY!! We both want one so we'd like that but we'll have to wait to see what December brings...
