My mood while writing this blog: excited |
Just got home from a visit to the OB. Things are looking great. I saw a different OB today (the office I go to has 3 in the practice and they schedule you with all of them at one point or another so you can be familiar with them all if your OB is unavailable at any time.) and he was great. (ears pierced, flip flops and jeans). Anyway, I had a Rhogam shot good for 12 weeks or until delivery and the usual BP 125/82 weight +7lbs for a total of 28 and urine which was fine. My glucose test came back normal so no worries about diabetes and the rest of my exam was perfect. The baby's heartbeat was in the 140's and strong. I can't believe there are only 12 weeks left! I just started my childbirth classes last night and by the time I am done there will be only 6 weeks left. Is it just me or is time flying?? Not all sunshine though...I am having the worse time sleeping at night. I have awful heartburn and shortness of breath (mostly at night) I think I am going to have to try sleeping in a recliner or with more pillows.
Anyway...

Wednesday, 8 Oct try taking acidophilous for the acid reflux! i'm still using it now again as i stopped for a bit and then noticed my digestion slowed down and i got more gassy. It helped immediately. Otherwise for sleeping there isn't much you can do besides maybe getting a massage from your partner before bedtime and using a body pillow. MommaDel -
Wednesday, 8 Oct yay we're almost there!! I'm so glad all your tests are looking good...unfortunately...we can't do much about the sleeping situation!! We start our Lamaze in a week and a half....Not that I'm going natural, but just getting the breathing techniques down!! mommaseverin -
Wednesday, 8 Oct I hear ya on the sleeping thing. I am having the same problem. the only thing that helps is using my husband as a body pillow. having my arm around him is comforting and the baby tends to calm down when my belly is up to his back. time is flying by. soon we'll be wishing we were pregnant again just to get an hour of sleep!
