Confused

Hello Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well with their babies and pregnancies. I need some input as to what is going on with me. You see....I'm late...I'm on day 31 of my cycle and normally my cycle is every 25-26 days. 98% of the time it's like this but every once in a while it's 27-28 days. So, even if I was going to have a 28 days cycle this month....I'm still late! I took a preggo test last night and this AM and it's negative. Hubby and I made love way late in my cycle...like around day 20-22..and I normally ovulate on day 12 (maybe I didn't this month though). I have cysts on my ovaries and can always feel the pain of ovulation. I can't remember which day I felt it on this month but if it was later than usual do you think that the egg could just be taking longer to implant itself? I'm thinking it's a little too late for that at this point. Have any of you ever taken a test when you were late and then taken another even later and then found you were pregnant? (Assuming you normally have a regular cycle) Please share your experiences or offer any advice. Thank you and God Bless!!!!

When I found out I was prego I was ONLY 3 wks prego. But yea, I would go get a blood test from your ob/gyn doctor. To be honest, I dont get the whole cycle thing.. lol.. and I have had AF for 22 yrs now!! LOL.... BUT my hubby can tell you when I am ovulating AND if I am prego. He said I taste like... uggg whats the word..... CRAP.. cant think.. Ill go ask him and come back.. lol... OOOH metalic. I taste like metalic... TMI.. BUT hey its a prego site what do u suspect.

yea I don't like the home prego test mine was neg when I was prego and went to the doctor and did blood work to find out that it was positive :) good luck

well you aren't THAT late yet so i would test again in a week. I was reading about this and it says that many people test too early that the levels aren't strong enough to detect and to wait a bit longer. Let me know how it goes!! Maybe you'll be joining me in the pregnant again club!!

Just my 2 cents...If you were to have had a "long" cycle, day 31 would be too early to test...I know it is agonizing but you'll gte your answer one way or another within a few days...

I took like 20 test when I prego with Xander.. I started on Monday and did not get a positive till Saturday.. hope that helps!

Hey lady!! I really hope you get your bfp!!! You want to hear something funny... I might be joining you again!! I am only 6 dpo..but I have started cramping like I did when preggo with both my girls.. We had a very easy time concieving both girls so I didn't think it would take long... I will be surprised if I am not preggo.. I have only felt these cramps twice before and they are very distinct! I will keep you posted! I hope you are preggo again!!!!!!!

Heya! Well maybe you did ovulate late. How long has your period been back to normal for? Because mine was backto 28days for 3 months and the the past 3 months is has been 38-40days. So maybe your having the same issues as me. OR maybe its just to early to test! I hope that its the latter,maybe wait a couple more days...no AF then go to the doc and get your bloods done, also out of curiosity, how far along were you with Anelise when you got a positive result? I'll be sending baby dust your way, much lovex0x

Are you stessed any? You could be skipping. Maybe you should take a blood test. They are more accurate.

Alicia, I totally skipped a period in May. I am always regular 27-28 day cycle. I even got some cramps about a week after my period was due, but the period never came. I ended up having a 57 day cycle or something like that so I pretty much perfectly skipped one. I got negative tests about once a week during that time b/c I was also confused about skipping. But I just got my period again after 28 days so I appear to be back to regular. When I was confused about it, 2 of my sisters told me they had missed one or been very late within the past 6 months or so. Keep me posted!
