My mood while writing this blog: dont know |
ok so I have to go to the ER today and you wouldnt guess why...............I was trying to strain some rice and missed the container and poured it all on my right (dominate) hand. I started screaming my 2 yr old was like what's wrong mommy? she is so sensitive she started crying cause i was crying and then daddy (hubby) come home from getting a haircut and he was like what the hell is going on? I tell him and we all go to the ER but before I went I ran the cold water over my hand which the DR says was a good thing cause it slowed down the burn process and stopped the blistering the only thing I didnt like is the DR was about to give me Tylenol with codiene i was like can I take that pregnant he was like YOUR PREGNANT i wanted to say yes ASSHOLE but i was like did u think i had a fregging tuma?(I love new yorkers thats how my sis husband wouldve said it lol) the DR was like I honestly didnt pay any attention I was like I told the nurse twice didnt she write it down he was looking through the papers and was like yes I woulve gotten there eventually I was like yea ok but anyway I cant even imagine what wouldve happened if i wouldve went home and took that medicine THANK YOU JESUS FOR LOOKING OUT FOR ME cause I was in so much pain with my hand I cant believe I even asked I was willing to take anything to stop the pain really but Im glad I spoke up and avoided that mistake.

Sunday, 2 Aug Oh no, Sorry to hear avout your accident and burn. I hope your feeling better. Your going to have to take it easy now. What a bummer.........Burns are really nasty and can hurt for a good while. I would ask the doc what you can put on it to help blisters. Rest up. maebeth -
Saturday, 1 Aug Hi. Hope your hand heals soon. Sounds really miserable...just FYI...I fell and sprained/dislocated my elbow a couple of weeks ago and the doctor gave me tylenol with codeine which is considered safe for pregnancy (checked with labor and delivery and they prescribed it alot). I still only took it for about the first 24 hours as I'm not thrilled with taking stuff while pregnant. Hope you're better soon. Take care. 3rd Time Mommy 2B -
