| 05-4-2009 - When will i truely feel movement??? |
My mood while writing this blog: Ok |
I am 17 weeks, this friday i turn 18 (5days). This is my second pregnancy and i am STILLLLLLLL not feeling any true movements, i did about 2-3 days ago but how on earth am i suppose to be confident and assured that everything is going right. I wait and wait and wait sitting on couch waiting for reassurance, i drink cold water, then lay down and still nothing. It makes me soooooo angry, as i get more and more worried that my baby has died. I hear so many tradgic stories, and they just make me anxious too that i will have to endure such pain. With my son who is now 3 he moved all the time and i think at about this time i could feel him clearly from the outside. All the information i get says i should be feeling it NOWWWW, so why arnt i normal, does that mean something is wrong!!!! arrrrgh im so impatient and down about this at the moment!!! NExt time i write i hope this has all changed!!

Monday, 6 Apr With my first pregnancy, I could feel definite movement by 14 weeks and by 30th week, I could feel the 'rolling motions' hiccups, baby stretching. With this pregnancy, I was worried out of my mind that I did not feel anything by 20th week. I am now 29 weeks and am feeling just bumps here and there. Found out at the anatonmy scan that my placenta was in the front (between the baby and my stomach) which explains why I did not feel much. The placenta was muffling all the movements. I miss that rolling motion and the hiccups and hope I get to feel that as the baby gets bigger. Mumbo -
Sunday, 5 Apr I didn't feel anything til week 18, then a whole week before I felt even a twinge. You will be fine, you could have an outward facing placenta which cushions the kicks. The risk of losing your baby at this stage would be very rare. Try not to read too much, all the advice said movement would slow down at week 28 and this was when the kicks really kicked into gear with me. Just trust your doctors, if there was anything to worry about, they will be right onto it. :) klo0426 -
Sunday, 5 Apr Give it a minute. I think your worrying yourself to much and so your little doesn't want to say hello to a worry wart.lol I didn't feel anything until 25 weeks but I never questioned it becasue I was growing and never had any cramping or bleeding to tell me any different. So unless your cramping serverly or bleeding don't worry.
