Hey Ladies!

DH had a vasectomy about 3 weeks ago and was supposed to get tested for a sperm count after his 15th ejaculation--well, he never did. He said he was "putting it in God's hands"...which, ok I'm all good with that BUT God gave me a brain and I KNOW I don't want any more kids...there is a possibility that he still has a sperm count and yes, we have been doing it unprotected (stupid me...) but he refuses to wear condoms and I really hate birth control. Also, I am breastfeeding so I know that helps to protect against pregnancy. I had 2 seperate dreams last night that I fell pregnant again and I woke up horrified. Anyways, have any of you ever heard of someone getting preggo after a vasectomy? HE NEEDS TO GO BACK and get checked...otherwise, what was the point of getting it done if for some reason it didn't take.
Yeah, I'm praying I'm just paranoid.

no you are not paranoid i agree he needs to go back & get checked. i know someone who got his wife pregnant after a vasectomy!

Hey Mama! I think it can happen but it is really rare. I have heard about being careful until so many ejaculations so you might want to take a test to be sure! But if it's been 15 times and that's how many he was supposed to wait then you are probably ok. I am in the same boat as you minus the vasectomy! My husband wants SIX kids! LOL! YEA RIGHT! I don't even want one more! lol...ok, maybe just one more! But we too have been having unprotected sex, cause he hates condoms and he doesn't want me back on the pill cause it took my body a year to get back on it's regular cycle after being off it! Ok, I'm blabbing now, let's just both hope we're not prego! I'm sure you're ok :)
