01-10-2008 - Not Going to Make It!! LOL

October 1st already!! Inching closer and closer=)

Soooooooooooo,

I went to my OB yesterday for my 2 week check up. He went to pull out the measuring tape and put it right back in his lab coat!! I said to him, " I take it your not measuring anymore because I'm not going to make it to my due date"! He replied, " No way you are going that long, I suspect you'll go into labour anytime after Halloween"! My oldest daughter, who attended the appointment, perked right up! Naturally I expressed a bit of concern to him since I am to be a scheduled c-section. He told me the moment that the labour hits...get my butt right into the hospital so we can prep for surgery A.S.A.P. . The doctor also guaranteed me that I have at least an 8-9 pounder on my hands and that I look to be at same rate as a 34 weeker.

Good news for me though. I'm glad that I will go sooner than later because my sciatic pain since the 5th month has been insane. The only relief for that is for the baby to arrive! I am nervous about going into labour on my own already having 2 previous c-sections. I've heard that uterine rupture is more likely with each casarean/pregnancy and this will be my third:s That in itself causes me to be very concerned. Thank goodness my hospital is only 10 minutes away~ The first sign of labour, I'm outty!!! LOL
