Well I was right! Little booger weighs 14lbs and is 23inches long. He was 9lbs 1oz when he was born--making up from being cut off from the umbilical cord I guess LOL
The rash on his face the doc said is just milia, which is normal and not to do anything with it. The constipation he said just to put the tip of a glycerin suppository in if it gets real bad to help grease it out ;) As for the car seat...NO MORE! The doc said to break him of the habit a.s.a.p.~ He slept in his crib last night--mind you tossing and turning all night long. Too bad. He'll have to get use to it!
As for the shots...awwww man. I hate the curled lip that comes out once they realize they just got stuck!
The first needle for measles, mumps..etc.--he didn't even flinch, kept cooing and smilin' his little butt off. Then came the shot for pneumonia---L'il Rob turned sooooo red, grabbed on to the docs stethoscope and threw it to the ground ---then let out a death howl LORDY!! LMAO--he cried for a good ten minutes after but got over it quickly on the drive home. Both of his thighs are sore and will be for the next couple of days---poor little dude. All and all things are good, he's a tad over on the growth scale, not enough to be concerned with---but chunky babies are so cute--right??!!
I have to cut back on his milk consumption a bit---5 oz during the day and a 6oz for bed and breakfast. Doctor said they recommend that babies start the cereal at six month but he told me I can give him some sooner around 5 months because he is so big and the formula just won't cut it in a few months. With my daughters it was recommended that you give them cereal at 4 months. Crazy how things change--and they are fine!
We'll be back at 4 months to do this all over again--yippee! LOL
Squeeze those babies tight girls...time is flyin'!! Makes me wonder if I should have got my tubes tied??!!
NOT!!!!!
3 is enough, ya dig?!..LOL
Have a good one friends<3
XO
